* WHAT…West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE…Portions of northwest North Carolina, southwest and west
central Virginia, and southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN…From noon Friday to 6 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Limbs and trees weakened or partially downed
from the remnants of Hurricane Helene will be more susceptible
being brought down by these winds.
