* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…A portion of southwest Oregon, including the following
counties, Coos, Curry and Josephine.
* WHEN…Until 1000 AM PST Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. River or
stream flows are elevated. Ponding of water in urban or other
areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 502 PM PST, Doppler radar, weather spotters and automated
rain gauges indicated heavy rain between 5 and 10 inches has
fallen in these areas over the past few days. Urban and small
stream flooding and overflowing poor drainage areas will
continue to cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area tonight into Saturday morning. This additional
rain will result in minor flooding.

Brookings, Cave Junction, Port Orford, Bandon, Powers,
Agness, Bear Camp Viewpoint, Briggs Creek Recreation Site,
Ophir, Sam Brown Campground, Spalding Pond Campground, Alfred
A. Loeb State Park, Sixes River Campground, Humbug Mountain
State Park, Galice, Selma, Highway 199 Hayes Hill Summit,
Kerby, Harbor and Edson Creek Campground.
