Winter Storm Warning issued November 25 at 2:27PM PST until November 27 at 4:00AM PST by NWS Sacramento CA

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected for elevations above 5500 feet.
Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches and up to 1-2 feet
along higher peaks. Wind gusts as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE…West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas
County/Lassen Park Counties.

* WHEN…Until 4 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Snow-covered roads, chain controls and travel delays are
likely which will result in very difficult travel at times above
5500 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Periods of moderate to heavy snow through
early Wednesday morning. Snow levels rising to 6000 to 7000 feet
in the Sierra this afternoon, then lowering 4000-5000 feet
throughout the day on Tuesday. 2 to 5 inches of snow possible down
to around 5000 feet.
