High Wind Warning issued November 26 at 11:58AM MST until November 27 at 8:00AM MST by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* WHERE…Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and Johnson and Bartlett Mesas
Including Raton Pass.

* WHEN…Until 8 AM MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…One to 9 inches of snow are also forecast on
the high peaks and west slopes of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains,
including 1 to 3 inches in Red River. After the wind weakens on
Wednesday morning, the snow will continue through the day and into
Wednesday evening.
