Special Weather Statement issued November 27 at 2:42PM MST by NWS Albuquerque NM

A weather system moving south into northern New Mexico tonight
will produce an area of light snow over parts of the area through
Thanksgiving morning. Snowfall accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are
likely along I-25 between Las Vegas and Santa Fe, along U.S. 285
between Clines Corners and Santa Fe, as well as along I-40 from
Clines Corners to Tijeras. This may lead to a period of slick
travel on Thanksgiving morning. Locally higher amounts up to 5
inches are possible in the high terrain west of Las Vegas. Another
area of light snow will impact the Continental Divide portion of
I-40 over western NM. Folks planning travel in these areas late
tonight through Thursday morning should be prepared for snowpacked
and icy roadways. Allow extra time to reach your destination. For
the latest travel conditions visit nmroads.com or dial 5-1-1.
