Lake effect snow will affect areas along the southeastern shores
of Lake of the Woods toward Baudette and Koochiching County border
this evening and overnight. Snow will fall in relatively narrow
bands, quickly reducing visibility at times. Most likely snowfall
accumulation will range from 2 to 4 inches through tonight, but
could be locally higher within narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
Travel could be difficult. Reduce your speed, turn on your
headlights. Don’t slam on brakes!
