accumulations between 5 and 20 inches by Saturday morning.
Greatest snow accumulations will occur in the higher terrain from
just north of Ironwood to Painesdale.
* WHERE…Baraga, Gogebic, Ontonagon, and Southern Houghton Counties.
* WHEN…From 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ this evening to 7 AM EST /6 AM
CST/ Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Patchy
blowing snow in open areas near Lake Superior will significantly
reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact
Thanksgiving holiday travel.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Accumulating lake effect snow will continue
through Monday.
