* WHAT…Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 6
inches for a storm total of 5 to 10 inches. Locally greater totals
possible in an area from Piscataquis county to southeast Aroostook
county.
* WHERE…Portions of Central Highlands, Far Eastern, Far Northern,
North Woods, and Penobscot Valley Maine
* WHEN…Until 7 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS…Periods of locally heavy snowfall may lead to rapid snow
accumulations. The weight of heavy, wet snow on tree limbs may
down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel
could be very difficult due to heavy snow creating low visibility,
and wet roads freezing under new snow. These hazardous conditions
will impact travel tonight through Friday morning.
