* WHAT…Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches for a
storm total of 3 to 6 inches with some variability. The greatest
accumulations will occur across the higher terrain above 1500 feet.

* WHERE…Orleans, Eastern Chittenden, Eastern Franklin, and
Lamoille Counties.

* WHEN…Until 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. Isolated power outages are possible.

At 528 PM CDT, an automated weather station reported gusty showers along a line extending from near Burwell to near Berwyn to near Moorefield. Movement was east southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Automated Weather Station. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ord, Loup City, Scotia, Fort Hartsuff State Park, Litchfield, Sherman Reservoir Dam, Lexington, Smithfield, Arcadia, Overton, Cozad, Sumner, Miller, Farnam, Elwood, and North Loup. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 212 and 248.

Blowing Dust Advisory issued April 21 at 4:24PM MDT until April 21 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS

* WHAT...Visibility between one-quarter to three miles in blowing dust near blowing dust source regions. * WHERE...Dundy, Hitchcock, and Red Willow Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 PM MDT /9 PM CDT/ this evening. * IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility. Poor air quality may cause issues for people with respiratory problems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Patchy blowing dust has been reported to be occurring with winds from a decaying line of showers.
