The guidance used by FAA personnel to review Inspection Authorization (IA) applications in FAA Order 8900.1, Volume 5 Chapter 5 Section 7 has been recently revised. Interested applicants will find it helpful to look at this document to better understand what the FAA is looking for in an IA application.
