* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 12
to 24 inches across Lake and northern Ashtabula Counties tonight

expected in central and southern Ashtabula County, with locally up
to 12 inches.
* WHERE…Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, and Lake Counties.
* WHEN…Until 7 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4

expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially

especially in eastern Lake and northern Ashtabula Counties where
25 to 40 inches of snow has already fallen. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heavy lake effect snow is expected to move
back onshore across Lake and northern Ashtabula Counties early
Sunday morning. The snow may not reach central and southern
Ashtabula County until Sunday night. Snowfall rates will reach 1

highest accumulations are expected along the I-90 corridor and
north, with totals quickly decreasing to the south.
