…SNOW POTENTIAL CONTINUES THROUGH THIS WEEKEND…

Snow is forecast to develop to the south tonight and spread
northward, lasting well into Sunday night. Accumulating snowfall
will spread north with greatest accumulations along the Icy Strait
corridor Saturday night. Snow will end as it begins, from south
to north, with a transition to rain beginning over the southern
outer coast Sunday morning.

* WHAT…Heavy snow potential. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 7
inches possible. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE…Petersburg Borough and Kake.

* WHEN…From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel can become difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Greatest snowfall rates expected late
Saturday night into Sunday morning before changing to rain.
