Winter Storm Warning issued December 1 at 5:59PM AKST until December 2 at 3:00AM AKST by NWS Juneau AK

…HEAVY SNOW CONTINUES TONIGHT…

Heavy snow has spread north Through the day today. Snow will end
as it began, from south to north. A transition to rain began
early today over the southern Panhandle with the rain-snow line
slowly moving north throughout the night tonight. Brief periods
of freezing rain may occur as surface temperatures struggle to
warm during the transition.

* WHAT…Heavy wet snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4
inches.

* WHERE…Glacier Bay, Eastern Chichagof Island and Cape
Fairweather to Lisianski Strait.

* WHEN…Until 3 AM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL INFORMATION…A brief period of freezing rain is
likely before the snow fully transitions to rain early Monday
morning.
