…HEAVY SNOW CONTINUES INTO MONDAY…
Heavy snow continues for the Haines area with warm temperatures
aloft over Juneau and Gustavus transitioning precipitation type to
a wintery mix including freezing rain. The transition to
rain has reached Angoon and Pelican with the rain- snow line
slowly moving north throughout the night tonight and into early
Monday.
Temperatures have risen above freezing and snow has transitioned
to rain in Pelican and Angoon. Additional mix is possible for the
next hour before a full transition to rain in all areas.
Therefore, the winter storm has been allowed to expire.
