Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 2 at 11:27PM EST until December 3 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3
to 6 inches in northern Geauga County and 1 to 3 inches in
southern Geauga County.

* WHERE…Geauga County.

* WHEN…Until 7 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make
travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on
slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact
the Tuesday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A potent cold front will move through
Wednesday night, ushering in strong, gusty winds and impactful
lake effect snow Wednesday night into Thursday. Additional winter
weather headlines may be needed for that period.
