Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 3 at 3:15AM EST until December 3 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, moderate lake effect
snow. Additional snow accumulations 4 to 8 inches in the most
persistent lake snows. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy lake
effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations of greater than 7
inches possible in the most persistent lake snows. Winds could
gust as high as 45 to 50 mph Wednesday night through Thursday
night, producing considerable blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE…Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties. Greatest additional
snow accumulation today across the higher terrain of the
Chautauqua Ridge and western Cattaraugus County.

* WHEN…For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, until 7 PM EST this
evening. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Wednesday evening
through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult at times. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
Gusty winds could down tree branches and cause isolated power
outages Wednesday night through Thursday night.
