Special Weather Statement issued December 2 at 9:47PM EST by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

Snow showers are ongoing across the North Carolina counties along
the Tennessee border and will continue overnight. Light
accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts of 3-5
inches at elevations above 3500 feet are expected by daybreak
Tuesday when snow showers taper off. Gusty northwest winds are
also expected but should remain below 35 mph across most
locations.

Slow down and use caution if traveling across the higher
elevations tonight through Tuesday morning. Snow covered roadways
across the higher terrain could impact travel conditions.
