* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
9 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of Central Highlands, Far Eastern, Far Northern,
and North Woods Maine

* WHEN…From Wednesday evening through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. Strong
winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines and
possibly reduce visibility due to blowing snow.
