Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 4 at 3:32AM EST until December 6 at 4:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations 6
to 12 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as
high as 50 mph, producing considerable blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE…Wyoming and Southern Erie Counties. Greatest accumulations
across the higher terrain of the Boston Hills and western Wyoming
County.

* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 4 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
will impact the morning and evening commutes on Thursday. Gusty
winds will down tree branches and cause isolated power outages.
