inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph can result in whiteout
conditions due to blowing snow. Significant drifting snow is also
possible.
* WHERE…Portions of Eastern Upper and Northern Lower Michigan.
* WHEN…Until 7 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. The strong winds and weight
of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause
sporadic power outages. Travel could be very difficult. Areas of
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
