Winter Storm Warning issued December 4 at 2:53AM CST until December 5 at 6:00AM CST by NWS Duluth MN

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow expected for Iron County. Total snow
accumulations between 5 and 11 inches in northern Iron County and
4 to 6 inches for southern Iron County. Winds gusting as high as
45 mph creating areas of blowing snow.

* WHERE…Iron County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the
northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band.

* WHEN…From 9 AM this morning to 6 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday evening commute. Gusty winds could
bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The heaviest snowfall is expected in northern
Iron County from Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night. The
highest northwesterly winds are expected Wednesday late afternoon
and into early Thursday morning.
