Winter Weather Advisory issued December 3 at 11:45PM AKST until December 4 at 3:00AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected with periods of blowing
snow. Visibility reduced to one half mile or less at times.
Additional snow accumulations of up to 2 inches. Total ice
accumulations of a light glaze to a tenth of an inch. Northeast
winds gusting as high as 25 mph.

* WHERE…Thompson Pass, Keystone Canyon, Valdez.

* WHEN…Until 3 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be hazardous. Expect significantly
reduced visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Periods of freezing rain near Valdez and
higher elevation snow/sleet/freezing rain will continue into
early morning Wednesday. Gusty winds will begin to diminish
overnight as temperatures slowly warm above freezing, leading to
slowly improving visibilities.
