Winter Weather Advisory issued December 3 at 11:45PM AKST until December 4 at 9:00AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Snow and freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulation
of a glaze up to one tenth of an inch. Total snow accumulation
of up to 2 inches.

* WHERE…South of Glennallen, including Kenny Lake and Chitina.

* WHEN…Until 9 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Areas of snow will continue this evening,
then transition to freezing rain for areas south of
Glennallen. Precipitation will become intermittent overnight
tonight, potentially shutting off in some areas. The most
likely area to see continued freezing rain overnight into
Wednesday morning will be the Richardson Highway approach to
Thompson Pass.
