* WHAT…Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches.
Winds may gust as high as 40mph, resulting in blowing / drifting
snow, along with reduced visibility.

* WHERE…Alcona and Ogemaw Counties.

* WHEN…Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
morning and evening commutes.

Arkansas River at Van Buren affecting Sebastian and Crawford Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam. * WHEN...Until late tonight. * IMPACTS...At 360.0 feet, flooding spreads over more than 4,000 acres in Franklin and Logan Counties. Numerous gas fields are flooded. Some agricultural lands in Johnson County also are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 359.2 feet. -

Special Weather Statement issued June 8 at 8:17AM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK

A cold air mass sits above Interior Alaska. Cloudy conditions Sunday begin to diminish in the evening and overnight. Low lying areas in valleys that clear in the early morning may develop frost Monday morning. Patches of clearing skies are most likely Sunday night into Monday along the Middle Tanana Valley from Nenana through Salcha. Frost is unlikely for all but the lowest lying valleys and along rivers.
