Winter Weather Advisory issued December 4 at 2:53AM CST until December 5 at 6:00AM CST by NWS Duluth MN

* WHAT…Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between
3 and 7 inches in eastern Ashland County. Winds gusting as high as
50 mph.

* WHERE…Ashland County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad
River Reservation. Recreation spots such as Madeline Island.

* WHEN…From 9 AM this morning to 6 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday evening commute. Gusty winds could
bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The heaviest snowfall is expected in eastern
Ashland County from Wednesday evening through Wednesday night. The
highest northwesterly winds are expected Wednesday late afternoon
and into early Thursday morning.
