Winter Weather Advisory issued December 4 at 4:23AM EST until December 6 at 4:00AM EST by NWS Binghamton NY

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…A portion of central New York.

* WHEN…From 10 PM this evening to 4 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Embedded snow squalls may reduce visibility
to near zero at times Thursday morning. Winds will become
increasingly gusty Thursday, as the event transitions to lake
effect snow.
