Coastal Flood Advisory issued December 5 at 4:24AM EST until December 5 at 4:00PM EST by NWS Newport/Morehead City NC

* WHAT…Up to 1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level
expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
waterways adjacent to the Pamlico Sound.

* WHERE…Areas along Croatan, and Roanoke Sounds, Kitty Hawk
Bay, and Pamlico Sound, and adjacent tidal creeks.

* WHEN…Until 4 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Up to 1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level
is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
waterways resulting in a low threat of property damage. Some
roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks,
lawns, and homes adjacent to the waterfront will experience
shallow flooding.
