Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 4 at 3:29PM EST until December 6 at 8:00PM EST by NWS State College PA

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
between 6 and 15 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE…Cameron, Elk, McKean, Potter, and Warren Counties.

* WHEN…Until 8 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Whiteout conditions are expected at times and will make
travel difficult and treacherous. The strong winds combined with
the weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could
cause sporadic power outages. Areas of blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility.
