Special Weather Statement issued December 4 at 11:37PM CST by NWS Lake Charles LA

At 1137 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Evangeline to near Hayes to near Sweet
Lake. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Hacketts Corner, Gueydan, Wright, Hayes, Evangeline, Jennings,
Roanoke, Egan, Florence Landing, Crowley, Lowry, Sweet Lake, Lyons
Point, Riceville, Bell City, Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge, Lake
Arthur, Estherwood, Indian Bayou, and Rayne.

This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 58 and
91.

Air Quality Alert issued June 6 at 6:47AM MST by NWS Phoenix AZ

AQAPSR The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has extended an Ozone High Pollution Advisory for the Phoenix Metro Area through Saturday. This means that forecast weather conditions combined with existing ozone levels are expected to result in local maximum 8-hour ozone concentrations that pose a health risk. Adverse health effects increase as air quality deteriorates. Ozone is an air contaminant which can cause breathing difficulties for children, older adults, as well as persons with respiratory problems. A decrease in physical activity is recommended. At 819 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles north of Greers Ferry to near Guy to near Oppelo, moving east at 50 mph.
