* IMPACTS…Travel will be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Steady precipitation has moved into the
southern Copper River Basin this evening and will quickly spread
north and west across the basin. Precipitation may start out as
snow most places, but will quickly transition to freezing rain
for the central and southern basin, Glennallen
southward…including the Edgerton Highway corridor and
Glennallen Highway toward Thompson Pass. Precipitation intensity
may lighten up overnight, but another round of heavier
precipitation will move through Thursday morning, followed by
gusty southeasterly winds. This will lead to transition to rain
for most areas, with temperatures rising above freezing for the
Copper Valley as winds come in.
