Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 6 at 3:50AM EST until December 7 at 4:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 6 to
12 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high
as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties.

* WHEN…Until 4 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
will impact the evening commute today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…There will be a break in the accumulating
snow this morning, before heavy snow redevelops off Lake Erie by
midday or early afternoon and continues tonight.
