Meteorological Summary:
- High pressure over the Southeastern U.S. will continue to promote dry and cool conditions across the Sunshine State today (near 0-10% chance of rain).
- Breezy northerly to northeasterly winds near 5-10 mph with gusts near 10-20 mph will persist along the Peninsula and Keys throughout the day.
- High temperatures in the low to middle 60s across North Florida, upper 60s to middle 70s across Central Florida, and middle 70s across South Florida and the Keys.
- Despite calmer winds, elevated fire weather concerns will exist along the Florida Panhandle and across the Suwannee Valley again today as afternoon relative humidity values fall below 25-40%.
- Moderate to locally high risk for rip currentsalong Florida Panhandle and East Coast.
- Dry and mostly clear conditions will persist through the overnight hours tonight (near 0% chance of rain).
- Low temperatures are expected to fall into the 30s across the Northern Peninsula and through the Nature Coast and upper 30s to middle 40s along the Florida Panhandle.
- Freeze Watches have been issued across interior portions of the Suwannee Valley and Northeast Florida as sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30-degrees will be possible late tonight through Sunday morning.
- Low temperatures in the middle 40s to middle 50s across Central Florida with middle 50s to middle 60s across South Florida and middle to upper 60s along the Southeast Coast and Keys.
