Special Weather Statement issued December 6 at 7:56PM EST by NWS Marquette MI

A low pressure system approaching from Central Canada will bring
the potential of moderate, wet snowfall accumulation of 2 to
locally 4 inches on Saturday. Some sleet or light freezing rain
could mix in with the snow mainly during the afternoon hours
before precipitation tapers off toward evening. The greatest snow
accumulation is expected from Melstrand through Seney to Newberry
and Pine Stump Junction.

Those planning travel over east central Upper Michigan on Saturday
should be prepared for slippery, snow-covered roadways and
limited visibility at times in snow. Please exercise caution on
the slippery roadways by reducing speed and allowing extra time to
reach your destination.
