Winter Weather Advisory issued December 7 at 1:48AM MST until December 8 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches
along the eastern foothills and over Rogers Pass, 3 to 7 inches
over Marias Pass, and higher amounts in the mountains of Glacier
National Park. Winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts up to 85 mph expected.

* WHERE…The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front.

* WHEN…From 11 AM this morning to 5 PM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult due to slippery roads and
reduced visibility. Tire chains may be required for some vehicles
if traveling through mountain passes. Gusty winds could bring down
tree branches and cause power outages.

Rain/snow showers returned to the Yukon Delta Sunday afternoon as the next system arrived. Showers will stretch north to St. Lawrence Island by Monday morning and to the southern Seward Peninsula by noon Monday. Showers are expected to be a messy rain/snow mix, especially in the Yukon Delta and lower Yukon Valley where the mix will be more rain than snow. Snow becomes more dominant for areas from Shaktoolik north, but showers will be less frequent there keeping accumulations light. Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Parsons. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Flood waters spread over fields to a distance of 1 and one fourth miles. Several county roads, mainly along the left bank are inundated. Several residents which live along the right bank in the vicinity of Highway 400 may experience water entering their homes at basement levels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 AM CDT Monday
