Winter Storm Warning issued December 8 at 12:40PM MST until December 11 at 5:00AM MST by NWS Rapid City SD

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 9 inches
or more anticipated. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…In South Dakota, Northern Black Hills. In Wyoming, Wyoming
Black Hills.

* WHEN…From 2 AM Monday to 5 AM MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heaviest snow and greatest accumulations are
expected to occur at elevations above 5000 feet. A break in
snowfall may occur Monday afternoon or evening before a second
round of heavy snow.
