Flood Watch issued December 10 at 3:14AM EST until December 12 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Boston/Norton MA

* WHAT…Flooding is possible from excessive rainfall as well as
northern New England snowmelt.

* WHERE…Western Massachusetts and portions of northern Connecticut.

* WHEN…From Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff from heavy rain combined with snowmelt
in northern New England will bring the potential for some mainstem
River Flooding. Flooding may also occur in poor drainage and urban
areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– A widespread 2-3 inches of rain with localized amounts up to
4 inches of rain are possible later tonight into Wednesday
night. The heaviest of the rain will be Wednesday into
Wednesday night.
