Special Weather Statement issued December 10 at 5:34AM CST by NWS New Orleans LA

At 534 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Kentwood to near
Montpelier. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Franklinton, Greensburg, Amite, Amite City, Kentwood, Tylertown,
Roseland, Osyka, Montpelier, Enon, Mount Herman, Wilmer, and
Tangipahoa.

This includes the following Interstates…
Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 43 and 66.
Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 3.
