Winter Weather Advisory issued December 9 at 2:58PM AKST until December 10 at 3:00AM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation, freezing rain, snow, and blowing
snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to three inches and
ice accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 50
mph.

* WHERE…Kivalina and Red Dog Dock, Lower Kobuk Valley and
Baldwin Peninsula.

* WHEN…Until 3 AM AKST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be difficult. Areas of blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility.
