* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE…A portion of southern Connecticut, including the following
areas, Northern Fairfield, Northern Middlesex, Northern New Haven,
Northern New London, Southern Fairfield, Southern Middlesex,
Southern New Haven and Southern New London.

* WHEN…From 1 PM EST this afternoon through late tonight.

* IMPACTS…A widespread 2 to 3 inches of rain is expected with
localized 4 to 5 inches possible. The heavy rain may result in
urban flooding and potentially impact the evening commute.
Flooding on some of the quicker responding rivers, streams, and
creeks is also possible.
