Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 11 at 3:20AM EST until December 13 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
of 7 inches with locally higher amounts where the heaviest bands
of snow occurs. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph which can lead to
blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE…Hamilton and Northern Herkimer Counties.

* WHEN…From 1 AM Thursday to 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and
evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The heaviest snow is expected to occur along
and especially north of Route 28.
