to 3 feet in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high
as 45 mph will produce considerable blowing and drifting snow.
* WHERE…Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie
Counties.
* WHEN…From 4 PM this afternoon to 1 PM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult with deep snow cover on
roads and very poor visibility. Areas of blowing snow will
significantly reduce visibility, with near whiteout conditions at
times. The hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute
tonight, the Thursday morning, and Thursday evening commutes.
