A front moving northwest from the Gulf of Alaska will bring
modest snow accumulations across much of the central interior,
including the Fairbanks bowl. Most areas can expect 2 to 4 inches
of snow, with the heaviest snow accumulations across higher
terrain surrounding Fairbanks.
People traveling the Parks Highways between Fairbanks and Nenana
should expect areas of low visibility and slippery travel
conditions by Thursday evening and Friday.
