expected.

* WHERE…The Blue Ridge escarpment of Avery, far eastern Buncombe,
Burke Mountains, Caldwell Mountains, far eastern Henderson,
McDowell Mountains, far southern Mitchell, Polk Mountains,
Rutherford Mountains, and far southern Yancey Counties.

* WHEN…From 7 AM this morning to 1 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Weakened and unstable trees and large limbs may be blown
down and a few power outages may result. Gusty winds will blow
around unsecured objects.
