Winter Weather Advisory issued December 11 at 3:45AM EST until December 13 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Binghamton NY

* WHAT…Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between
2 and 5 inches, with locally up to 6 inches across the far
northwestern tip of Oneida County.

* WHERE…Northern Oneida County.

* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Rain will change to lake effect snow this
evening. While the heaviest snow will likely remain north of the
region across the Tug Hill, accumulating lake effect snow is
expected to reach northern Oneida County at times.
