Winter Storm Warning issued December 13 at 2:23AM PST until December 14 at 10:00PM PST by NWS Sacramento CA

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. For the Coastal Range/Shasta County
mountains above 3500 feet, 8 to 24 inches expected, locally higher
over peaks. For the Southern Cascades/Sierra above 5000 feet, 1 to
3 feet expected, locally higher over the peaks. Winds gusting as
high as 50 MPH.

* WHERE…Burney Basin / Eastern Shasta County, Mountains
Southwestern Shasta County to Western Colusa County, Shasta Lake
Area / Northern Shasta County, West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada,
and Western Plumas County/Lassen Park Counties.

* WHEN…Until 10 PM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact commutes. Gusty winds could
bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The next storm will bring periods of moderate
to heavy snow Friday into Saturday night, heaviest during the day
Saturday.
