Coastal Flood Advisory issued December 14 at 2:36AM PST until December 14 at 12:00PM PST by NWS Eureka CA

* WHAT…High astronomical tides will cause minor flooding in low
lying areas. Up to one quarter foot of saltwater inundation
above ground level is possible near shorelines and tidal
waterways. Between 8.6 and 9.2 feet MLLW at the Crescent City
tide gauge is predicted.

* WHERE…Coastal Del Norte County.

* WHEN…From 8 AM to noon PST Saturday. High tide is at 9:44 AM
at the Crescent City tide gauge. Saltwater inundation will be
possible 1 to 2 hours before and after high tide.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of low lying areas are possible, including
along Pebble Beach Rd and along Highway 101 by South Beach south
of Crescent City.

FEMA Extends Individual Assistance Deadline for Homeowners and Renters in Kentucky FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky homeowners and renters who suffered uninsured or underinsured damage to their property from the February Severe Storms, Flooding and Straight-line winds now have a few weeks left to apply for federal disaster assistance. FEMA has extended the application deadline to Sunday, May 25, 2025. FEMA assistance for individuals affected by the severe weather can cover rental assistance, temporary housing, home repairs, personal property losses and other disaster-related needs not covered by insurance.
