* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE…Congaree River at Congaree River at Columbia.
* WHEN…Until early Monday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 10.0 feet, Flooding occurs in flood prone areas near
and downstream from Columbia. Flooding also occurs on parts of the
Cayce and West Columbia river walk.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 4:00 AM EST Saturday the stage was 9.8 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise to 10.9 feet this afternoon.
It will then fall to 4.1 feet Monday morning. It will rise to
4.2 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then fall again and
remain below flood stage.
– Action stage is 10.0 feet.
