Winter Weather Advisory issued December 14 at 2:22AM CST until December 14 at 8:00PM CST by NWS Chicago IL

* WHAT…Wintry mix and some freezing rain expected. Total ice
accumulations around a light glaze.

* WHERE…Boone, De Kalb, Lee, Ogle, Winnebago, and McHenry Counties.

* WHEN…From noon today to 8 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS…Slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…As temperatures rise above freezing late this
afternoon and early this evening precipitation will change to all
rain. Some icy spots may linger on untreated road and sidewalks
for a time even after air temperatures rise above freezing. This
is due to the initially very cold pavement temperatures being
slower to rise above freezing than the air temperatures.
