around a light glaze on surfaces.
* WHERE…Carlton and South St. Louis, Southern Cook, and Southern
Lake Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac
Band and the Grand Portage Reservation.
* WHEN…From 4 PM this afternoon to 3 PM CST Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snowfall is most likely late this morning and
into the afternoon hours. From this evening and throughout Sunday,
freezing drizzle is expected to create less than one tenth of an
inch of ice on untreated surfaces. The best chances for the
highest amount of ice accumulations tonight into Sunday morning
will be in the higher terrain of the North Shore and on top of the
hill in the immediate Duluth metro region.
