* WHAT…For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow. Additional snow
accumulations between 10 and 20 inches. Winds gusting as high as
65 mph. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow
accumulations between 5 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60
mph.

* WHERE…Portions of Siskiyou County, including the high terrain of
western and eastern Siskiyou County and Sawyers Bar road west of
Etna, portions of highway 97 northeast of Weed, and the City of
Tennant.

* WHEN…Until 4 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snowfall rates of one inch per hour are
likely Friday night into Saturday, with a 20-30% chance of 2 inch
per hour rates in the warning area.
